Dagger

Dagger is an option for several DefType commands specifying how the defined objects behave under complex conjugation.
Dagger[expr] returns the complex conjugate of expr.

• Possible values for the option Dagger are Real, Imaginary, Complex and Hermitian.
• The head Dagger is a (not linear) inert-head. It remains as the head of an expression when no further evaluation is possible. The only exception are symbols, for which we always expect evaluation (an error is thrown otherwise).
• Use DaggerIndex on indices.
• On numeric expressions Dagger becomes Conjugate.
• There is no proper treatment of determinations: Dagger on a product is the product of the Dagger of the terms.
• See: Section 5.6.
• See also: $DaggerCharacter, DaggerQ, TransposeDagger.
• New in version 0.
• Last update: 26-X-2007 for version 0.9.3 of xTensor`.
