DefAbstractIndex

• DefAbstractIndex[index] defines symbol index to be an abstract index without associating it to a vbundle yet.

• This function is made public for consistency of the treatment of types, but in principle should never be used by the user. The index definition is typically done using DefManifold or DefVBundle.
• Options:
PrintAs            Identity            string or function of symbol for output
ProtectNewSymbol    $ProtectNewSymbols    whether to protect new symbol or not
