DefMetric

• DefMetric[signdet, metric[-a, -b], covd, covdsymbol] defines metric[-a, -b] with signature given by signdet and associates to it the covariant derivative covd[-a].

• A metric is always a 2-symmetric tensor field.
• The signdet argument can be 0, 1, -1 or a list of three integers giving the numbers of +1's, -1's and 0's, respectively.
• The defined covd is always torsionless.
