- Completed full recoding of ContractBasis. Six new functions
or options have been added: AbstractIndicesInBasisOf,
BasisIndicesInBasisOf, IndicesInBasisOf, Indices,
OverDerivatives, ContractFirst. Three other have been

3 Aug - Added option CNumbers ("coordinate" or "component" numbers)
in DefBasis (to be extended to DefChart). Now the numbers of
the basis vectors are associated to the bases, and not to the
manifolds. There is still a function CNumbersOf in xTensor,
similar to CooordinateNumbersOfManifold, but now taking two
arguments: basis and manifold.
8 Aug - Changed TraceBasisDummy to work with the new CNumbersOf.
Nov - The cnumbers are now not given as an option, but as a third
mandatory argument of DefBasis and DefChart.
- Removed DefaultChart and AllManifolds. Introduced new chart
cart in the xCobaDoc.nb file to replace the role of the
old DefaultChart without changing the output too much.
- Updated basis part of xCoba for the new version of xTensor.
- Recursive part of TraceBasisDummy (implemented in ExpandRange)
is now done with two functions (ExpandRange and ExpandRang1)
to have more control on the expansions of products.
4 Dec - Corrected index of PD definition. It must always be a
Tangent index. Thanks to Alfonso for spotting this.
5 Dec - Functions epsilonToeta* and viceversa moved from xTensor.
18 Dec - Fixed function TraceBasisDummy. It was not checking that
during tracing some dummies could dissapear and hence the
expansion in that index was not needed anymore. Thanks again

another new public function Components, and two private

is faster, safer and more flexible. The "responsibility"
has been transferred from ContractBasis to ReplaceIndex.
23 Feb - Introduced concept of Coba, and renamed ComponentArray as
CobaArray and CobaToRules.
- Introduced concept of FoldedRule, which allows us to separate
symmetry based ("dependent") rules from the "independent"

24 Jul - The definition PDbasis+ = PDbasis is only done for complex
bases in complex vbundles, because in other cases PDbasis+ is
not even defined.
- Automatic basis contraction of the Kronecker Basis is now
performed using the hiding-attributes technique.
- ContractBasis with option OverDerivatives now contracts through
high-order derivatives.
25 Jul - Generalization to admit bases of a vbundle to be bases of its
subvbundles. A key point is the change in CompatibleQ and indexas
of SameQ to SubvbundleQ. The main idea is using a second argument
in CNumbersOf and CIndicesOf. There is a new command SplitBasis.
- DefChart accepts already-existing scalar fields.

- DeleteTensorValues now checks that the values are actually in Rule
state and changes to Rule state if not. Otherwise DeleteTensorValues
would leave an inconsistent situation. Thanks to Alfonso again for
pointing out this problem.
