This is a package for fast construction and manipulation of the equations of metric perturbation theory, of interest in General Relativity and other field theories. It is based on the use of explicit formulas for the construction of the n-th order perturbation of the most relevant curvature tensors.
Download and installation
Current version: 1.0.5 (as of 28 September 2014). It is recommended to download the main xAct bundle, but you can also download the different files separately:
- xPert.nb: source file.
- xPert.m: package file. This file is automatically generated by Mathematica when xPert.nb is saved. This is the only essential file.
- xPertDoc.nb: main documentation file.
